Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Develop and contribute to long-term technical solutions and strategies of the engineering department
Own backend services related to the identity and e-commerce needs of the entire company
Compliance, privacy, and security planning and implementation
Build, deploy and monitor services in a cloud environment
Build, maintain and improve automation tools
Able to work effectively in ambiguous settings with minimal guidance
Detail-oriented approach to designing APIs and maintaining services
Ability to work gracefully under pressure
Always be thinking of ways to improve performance and stability
Qualifications
5+ years professional experience
Bachelor's in software engineering, computer science, or related
.Net framework, .Net core, Entity framework, SignalR, REST
Database administration (MySQL or related)
Backend/web development programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Typescript, PHP)
Cloud Backend Development with AWS (RDS, EC2, Security policies and network)
Windows server 2016, IIS, soft firewall
